Escape to the islands without leaving the desert at Aloha Fridays, the signature Hawaiian-inspired summer series at Bel-Aire Backyard. Returning for its third season, Aloha Fridays transforms our Las Vegas resort pool into a tropical evening filled with reggae rhythms, Polynesian-inspired entertainment, fire knife performances and Hawaiian street food. For locals and visitors searching for a Luau Las Vegas experience, Aloha Fridays brings island culture, food and entertainment together beneath the palm trees at Durango Casino & Resort.

Aloha Fridays take place on select Fridays from 5pm to 10pm throughout the summer. The 2026 series includes May 15, June 12, July 17 and a final Labor Day Weekend celebration on September 4. Each evening offers a laid-back alternative to traditional Las Vegas nightlife, giving guests the chance to grab a drink, enjoy dinner, dance to live music or simply take in the entertainment poolside.

Live Reggae, Tahitian Dancers & Fire Performers

Music is at the heart of Aloha Fridays, with reggae sounds from DJ AD alongside live reggae music setting the soundtrack for the evening. As the sun goes down, the experience comes alive with traditional Tahitian performances from Tevakanui, including Polynesian dance and dramatic fire knife performances throughout the night.

The combination of live entertainment, tropical surroundings and the energy of a Las Vegas pool event makes Aloha Fridays more than an ordinary night by the water. Guests can move between the entertainment, poolside seating and dining areas while enjoying the atmosphere of Bel-Aire Backyard after sunset.

Hawaiian Street Food Poolside

The island experience continues with Hawaiian street food from Chef Gene “Culinary Gangsta” Villiatora of Ai Pono Cafe. A rotating selection of Hawaiian-inspired dishes brings bold island flavors to the Backyard, giving guests plenty to enjoy between performances. Drinks and additional poolside favorites are also available throughout the evening, bringing food, cocktails and entertainment together in one summer experience.

Outside of Aloha Fridays, guests can discover even more ways to spend the season at Bel-Aire Backyard, from Las Vegas pool events and poolside concerts to food and drinks from our poolside menus. Aloha Fridays adds an island-inspired twist to that lineup with only a handful of opportunities to experience it each year.

Plan Your Aloha Friday
